BuyAkane Rin is an S-Class Lakshana Main DPS in Neverness to Everness, arriving in Version 1.4 Phase 2 on October 21, 2026. She uses her guitar and sound blades to build String Energy, then releases enhanced attacks that can focus on one enemy or hit an entire group.
This NTE Akane Rin build guide covers her skills, upgrade priority, materials, best Arcs, Cartridges, Modules, Awakenings, and team comps. Equipment and team recommendations are based on currently available pre-release information.

Akane Rin wants enough field time to build String Energy and use her enhanced attacks. Teammates who provide buffs, healing, or reaction setup without lengthy rotations are the easiest fit.
Her two skill modes give her flexibility: Overtone concentrates damage on a marked enemy, while Reverb Field spreads her attacks across a group.
Stringblade — Basic Attack
Akane Rin performs a four-stage attack sequence that deals Lakshana damage and builds String Energy. These attacks also interact with the mode established by Rhythm Wave, making them a regular part of her damage rotation.
Rhythm Wave — Redirect Skill
Press Rhythm Wave to apply Overtone to one target, or hold it to create Reverb Field for area damage. Only one mode can remain active at a time.
At 30 String Energy, she can use Synced Resonance, an enhanced attack whose targeting follows the active mode. It spends String Energy on a successful hit but does not refresh the mode's duration.
Sonic Boom — Ultimate
Sonic Boom deals Lakshana damage and starts Solo Cadenza. During the latter half of this state, press Ultimate again to release its second stage. This follow-up requires manual activation.
Key Passives
Perfect Pitch activates after the team first triggers Remora, allowing her skill modes to periodically reapply it. Starlit Anthem grants a personal damage buff after Sonic Boom.
A practical starting priority is:
Rhythm Wave > Stringblade > Sonic Boom > Altered Chord
Rhythm Wave improves her enhanced attacks, while Stringblade strengthens the Basic Attacks used throughout her rotation. Sonic Boom remains important for its second-stage burst.
Unlock Perfect Pitch and Starlit Anthem early. Keep her three main offensive skills reasonably leveled rather than investing everything into one and neglecting the others.
The following materials cover all six Ascensions, raising Akane Rin level cap to 80.
| Material | Required Amount |
|---|---|
Charging Knight Spark Plug | 86 |
Suspended Delusions | 17 |
Yearning Delusions | 18 |
Transcendent Delusions | 15 |
Beetle Coin | 525,000 |
Charging Knight Spark Plug comes from Anomaly Hunt: Headless Rider. Collect the Delusions material family from enemy drops and use synthesis when you need higher-tier versions.
The following totals cover all four combat skills from Level 1 to 10, plus unlocking both combat passives.
| Material | Required Amount |
|---|---|
Synchronicity of Thought | 40 |
Resonance of Faith | 42 |
Heart-Racing Night | 65 |
Suspended Delusions | 40 |
Yearning Delusions | 40 |
Transcendent Delusions | 64 |
Good Boy Stamp | 35 |
Beetle Coin | 1,818,000 |
Good Boy Stamp comes from Anomaly Pilgrimage: Morphix. Prioritize this restricted boss material before filling out ordinary skill-material shortages.

Far Side of the Moon is Akane Rin's recommended premium Arc. At Level 80, it provides 570 Base ATK and 48% CRIT DMG.
Its passive supplies additional CRIT Rate and bonuses to her Basic Attack, Redirect Skill, and Lakshana damage. These effects match the attacks she already uses while building and spending String Energy, so she can benefit from them without changing her normal rotation.
| Arc | Why It Works | Main Limitation |
|---|---|---|
Fluff of Fleetness | Provides CRIT DMG and builds ATK while Akane Rin stays on field | ATK stacks reset when she switches out; it is a paid-track option |
The Last Rose | Provides CRIT Rate, ATK, and a short CRIT DMG window after casting a Redirect Skill | Its short buff duration needs careful timing |
Fluff of Fleetness suits longer attack sequences. The Last Rose is more attractive when you already own it and can place Synced Resonance inside its short buff window.
Shiny Days is a practical A-Class budget choice. Its ATK% supports Akane Rin's damage, while its passive adds value against Broken enemies.

It does not offer the same skill-specific bonuses as Far Side of the Moon, but it lets you build Akane Rin without committing resources to another limited Arc.
Youthful Fantasy is another option if already available on your account. Its ATK stat is useful, although its Chaos-focused effects do not fully match her Lakshana damage.
Street Boxer is the recommended starting set.

| Set Bonus | Effect |
|---|---|
| 2-Piece | Lakshana DMG +10% |
| 4-Piece | CRIT Rate +14%; triggering Remora or Stain grants another 14% CRIT Rate for 20 seconds |
The full effect supplies up to 28% CRIT Rate, making it easier to build consistent damage.
Both Stain and Remora can activate the set's conditional bonus. However, only Remora starts Akane Rin's Perfect Pitch enhancement, so the two reactions are not interchangeable when planning her team.
Start with a CRIT-focused setup. Choose CRIT Rate when your build lacks it, or CRIT DMG when Street Boxer and other bonuses already provide enough CRIT Rate.
| Build Situation | Main Stat Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Low CRIT Rate after accounting for buffs | CRIT Rate |
| Enough CRIT Rate from your set, Arc, and teammates | CRIT DMG |
| Balanced CRIT stats with a strong damage-bonus piece available | Consider Lakshana DMG Bonus |
| Your preferred pieces have weak offensive rolls | Compare a stronger ATK% option |
For offensive substats, prioritize:
CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > Universal DMG Bonus / ATK% > Flat ATK
Count temporary CRIT buffs before adding more CRIT Rate. Going beyond the cap wastes stats that could otherwise improve CRIT DMG or damage bonuses.

Akane Rin's Console specialization grants 10% ATK for each Type III Module equipped.
Prioritize compatible Type III pieces while maintaining Street Boxer's full set effect. Four qualifying Type III Modules provide 40% ATK from the specialization.
Check the completed Console layout before upgrading replacement pieces. The right set, fitting shapes, and useful stats all contribute to the final build.
| Awakening | Main Benefit |
|---|---|
| A1: After-School Tabs | Adds CRIT Rate and restores HP when Synced Resonance triggers |
| A2: Window Capo | Overtone reduces All Resistances; Reverb Field increases the active character's damage |
| A3: Shade Capsules | Strengthens the press cast, expands Reverb Field, and adds grouping |
| A4: Headphone Static | Grants ATK after Synced Resonance |
| A5: Rehearsal Click | Improves Basic Attacks relayed through either skill mode |
| A6: Front-Row Supernova | Adds a team damage bonus through Starlit Anthem |
Awakening numbers identify selectable effects; they are not a compulsory unlock order.
A2 is a strong damage-focused candidate when your CRIT Rate is already covered. A1 is more useful when you need CRIT consistency or additional self-healing. A5 deserves consideration for rotations built around repeated relayed Basic Attacks.
At A0, Akane Rin already has her main skill modes, String Energy loop, and Remora interaction. Start there, build her equipment and teammates, then decide whether additional copies justify the cost.
These teams follow her documented Cycle interactions. Their final performance and rotation balance still need live testing.
Akane Rin + Blackbird + Zero + Iroi
Akane Rin | Blackbird | Zero | Iroi |
Akane Rin and Blackbird provide the Lakshana and Psyche combination needed for Stain. Zero also gives the team access to Remora, allowing Akane Rin to activate Perfect Pitch rather than relying on Stain alone.
Iroi provides healing and support, helping the team sustain Akane Rin's longer attack sequences.
The main consideration is field time. Blackbird also needs opportunities to establish her own damage, so coordinate her actions around Akane Rin's attack window instead of keeping either character active indefinitely.
Akane Rin + Hathor + Zero + Iroi
Akane Rin | Hathor | Zero | Iroi |
This lineup focuses on the interaction between Lakshana and Cosmos.
Zero helps establish Remora, while Hathor adds another character whose kit benefits from reapplying it. Akane Rin then maintains her skill mode and uses her own Remora enhancement throughout the fight.
Iroi fills the sustain slot. This team is worth considering if you already own Hathor and want to build around Remora without adding another limited Main DPS.
Akane Rin + Zero + Haniel + Edgar
Akane Rin | Zero | Haniel | Edgar |
This is a more accessible starting lineup after obtaining Akane Rin.
Zero supplies Cosmos reaction setup, Haniel provides offensive buffs and Psyche access, and Edgar handles healing. The team can support both Remora and Stain while leaving Akane Rin as its main damage dealer.
If you already own Iroi, she can replace Edgar. Prioritize a stable rotation and sufficient healing before investing in additional limited teammates.
Akane Rin is worth considering if you want a ranged Lakshana Main DPS who can adjust between single-target and area damage.
She is particularly appealing if you already have Cosmos teammates for Remora or enjoy managing a sustained attack sequence with periodic enhanced skill casts.
Her priority is lower if your account already has a well-supported Lakshana carry and you are saving for another role. Consider whether you can give her enough field time and provide the support her rotation needs.
Prioritize Akane Rin first. Her signature Arc improves her build, but it cannot replace the character or a functional team.
After obtaining her, compare Far Side of the Moon with the Liquid Arcs already available on your account. A strong existing alternative may let you save resources for a missing support or future character.

TOP UP Neverness to Everness ON UUTOP

Far Side of the Moon is her signature choice. Fluff of Fleetness and The Last Rose are alternatives for existing owners.
Start with Rhythm Wave, followed by Stringblade, Sonic Boom, and Altered Chord. Unlock both combat passives early.
Use Street Boxer with compatible Type III Modules, then balance CRIT stats around your Arc and team buffs.
Yes. Her main mechanics work without it, and Shiny Days offers a budget starting point.
Akane Rin's build centers on maintaining the right skill mode, building String Energy, and landing Synced Resonance alongside Sonic Boom's second stage. Far Side of the Moon is her premium Arc, while Street Boxer and Type III Modules support her offensive stats.
Good luck with your pulls, Appraisers, and may Akane Rin arrive early.
