BuyChisa is a 5-star Havoc Broadblade Resonator who combines Negative Status support, healing, shielding, grouping, and personal damage. Her best build prioritizes reliable Resonance Liberation use, balanced CRIT stats, and Echo effects that strengthen her teammates. She performs best beside DPS characters who benefit from Havoc Bane or other Negative Status effects.
Preparing to pull Chisa or her signature Broadblade, Kumokiri? After checking your Astrite and pity, you can use UUTOP Wuthering Waves top-up if you still need more Lunites for your pulls.

Chisa marks enemies with her Resonance Skill. When a marked enemy takes direct damage, she periodically applies Havoc Bane, reducing its DEF.
Once her Forte Gauge is full, Chisa can use her enhanced Resonance Skill to enter Chainsaw Mode. Death Snip and Resonance Liberation restore HP for the team, while the Liberation also strengthens her Chainsaw Mode attacks. Complete the attack sequence to deal damage and provide a shield.
Before switching characters, use Chisa's Outro Skill. It raises the maximum Negative Status stack count by three. Teammates who apply or deal Negative Status damage can then gain Thread of Bane, allowing them to ignore 18% of the DEF of enemies marked by Unseen Snare.
Her basic rotation is:
Mark the enemy > Fill the Forte Gauge > Use Resonance Liberation > Enter Chainsaw Mode > Finish the attack sequence > Use Outro Skill
Upgrade Chisa's abilities in this order:
Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Basic Attack > Resonance Skill > Intro Skill
The Forte Circuit controls her enhanced chainsaw attacks and Sawring - Eradication, making it her highest priority. Resonance Liberation follows because it provides healing and improves her enhanced attack sequence.
Basic Attack contributes to her personal damage and rotation. Resonance Skill and Intro Skill can remain at lower levels when resources are limited because her main support effects do not rely heavily on their damage multipliers.

Kumokiri provides CRIT Rate, ATK, and Resonance Liberation DMG, all of which improve Chisa's personal damage.
Its team buff requires preparation. Chisa first gains stacks of its Resonance Liberation DMG effect by using her Intro Skill or inflicting a Negative Status. After reaching the maximum number of stacks, a teammate who inflicts a Negative Status can receive the weapon's All-Attribute DMG Bonus.
This means the team buff is not automatically active as soon as Chisa equips Kumokiri. The rotation must build the weapon's stacks before another Negative Status character triggers the final effect.

Wildfire Mark provides strong offensive stats and improves Resonance Liberation DMG, which applies to most of Chisa's enhanced chainsaw attacks.
It is a strong choice for her personal damage, but it does not provide Kumokiri's teamwide Negative Status buff.

Radiance Cleaver improves Chisa's ATK and CRIT ratio without requiring a specialized rotation.

Lustrous Razor supplies Energy Regen and Resonance Liberation DMG. Chisa cannot fully activate every part of its passive during a standard rotation, but its main stats still match her requirements.

Autumntrace is a useful Battle Pass option for players who need more CRIT Rate. Its passive grants additional ATK after Basic or Heavy Attack damage, and Chisa can build part of this effect during her rotation.
Its lower Base ATK keeps it behind the 5-star alternatives, but a highly Ranked Autumntrace remains a practical option when it is already available on the account.

Meditations on Mercy is the recommended no-gacha option. Chisa can activate its ATK effect by attacking enemies affected by Negative Status effects, making it more suitable for her than most craftable Broadblades.
Chisa has three practical Echo builds. The correct choice depends on whether she occupies the sustain slot, acts as a second-slot buffer, or focuses on personal damage.
Use 5-Pc Rejuvenating Glow when Chisa serves as the team's general support and sustain.

Her Resonance Liberation activates the set through its healing, granting an ATK buff to the party. This works especially well with ATK-scaling damage dealers.
Use Fallacy of No Return as the main Echo. It provides Energy Regen for Chisa and another ATK buff for the party.

Rejuvenating Glow is less useful in teams centered on an HP-scaling damage dealer because its ATK buff may not improve that character's main damage.
Use 5-Pc Moonlit Clouds with Impermanence Heron when Chisa needs to transfer buffs directly to the next Resonator.

This setup is primarily recommended for the Yangyang: Xuanling, Suisui, and Chisa team. Chisa takes the second slot and passes the Moonlit Clouds and Impermanence Heron buffs to Xuanling, while Suisui occupies the third position.
For higher Chisa damage, use:
Thread of Severed Fate activates when Chisa applies Havoc Bane, granting ATK and Resonance Liberation DMG. Chisa applies Havoc Bane repeatedly, while her enhanced chainsaw attacks also count as Resonance Liberation DMG.
Use Reminiscence: Threnodian - Leviathan as the main Echo to improve both Havoc and Resonance Liberation damage.
Use a 4-3-3-1-1 layout:
| Echo Cost | Main Stat |
| 4-Cost | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG |
| 3-Cost | Havoc DMG Bonus |
| 3-Cost | Havoc DMG Bonus or ATK% |
| 1-Cost | ATK% |
| 1-Cost | ATK% |
Prioritize:
Around 125% Energy Regen is a reasonable starting target, although the exact requirement changes with the team and rotation.
A developed Chisa build can aim for approximately:
Do not sacrifice a reliable Resonance Liberation rotation for a small increase in offensive stats.
Chisa works best when her teammates can use her Negative Status support or benefit from the defensive utility provided by her healing and shield.
Hsin | Chisa | Rover |
Hsin and Rover: Electro form the damage core of this team, while Chisa occupies the support and sustain position.
Chisa marks enemies, reduces their DEF through Havoc Bane, and keeps the team stable with healing and shielding. Complete her Outro before moving into the main damage window so the other characters receive the support effects available to them.
Chisa | Yangyang: Xuanling | Suisui |
Yangyang: Xuanling serves as the main damage dealer, while Chisa improves the team's Negative Status ceiling and reduces enemy DEF. Suisui completes the composition with additional support.
Use Moonlit Clouds and Impermanence Heron on Chisa in this team. Cast the Echo before switching to Xuanling so the main damage dealer receives both the Echo and Sonata buffs.
Chisa | Hiyuki | Lucilla |
Hiyuki provides the main damage, while Lucilla supports the Glacio Chafe playstyle and prepares the team's damage window. Chisa raises the Negative Status stack limit, reduces enemy DEF, and provides the healing and shield needed to keep the rotation stable.
Use Chisa's Outro before switching into the team's main damage sequence so Hiyuki and Lucilla can benefit from her Negative Status support.
Chisa | Aemeath | Denia |
This team focuses on Fusion Burst.
Aemeath supplies the main damage, while Denia supports the Fusion Burst rotation. Chisa increases the maximum number of Negative Status stacks, reduces enemy DEF, and fills the sustain position through healing and shielding.
Rejuvenating Glow works well here because both Aemeath and Denia can benefit from its partywide ATK buff.
Chisa is fully functional at S0. Her Negative Status support, DEF reduction, healing, and shielding are available without additional copies.
The most relevant Sequence Nodes are:
Chisa is worth considering if your roster contains a damage dealer who can use her specialized support, such as Hsin, Yangyang: Xuanling, Hiyuki, or Aemeath. She combines offensive support with healing and shielding, allowing her to cover several roles in one team slot.
She is less valuable for players who mainly use conventional direct-damage teams. Without a compatible teammate, her DEF Ignore, stack-cap increase, and signature weapon buff lose much of their purpose.
Kumokiri is not required for Chisa's base support abilities. However, it adds a team buff that alternative Broadblades cannot provide, making it the strongest investment after obtaining Chisa herself.

Usually. Death Snip and her Liberation restore HP, while Sawring - Eradication provides a long shield. Teams facing frequent heavy damage may still prefer a more defensive option.
Not particularly. Zani
She can group smaller enemies, but her marks and Havoc Bane stacks need time to build on each new target. She is generally stronger against bosses and durable enemies.
Chisa is a specialized support, healer, and sub-DPS who performs best in teams that can use her Havoc Bane and Negative Status effects. Give her enough Energy Regen to use her Liberation consistently, choose her Echo set according to the team, and complete her Outro before switching characters.
Good luck with your Echo rolls and your next Chisa pull, Rovers.
