Wuthering Waves 3.7 Suoming Build Guide: Weapons, Echoes, Teams & Rotation

Suoming is now available in Wuthering Waves Version 3.7 Phase 2 as a 5-star Electro Sword Resonator. Her build depends on one important decision: consume Unison through Seal Master and keep Suoming on-field for Basic Attack damage, or switch her out through Aligned Seals to support Hsin or another Electro DPS. In both roles, Unspoken Rue and the 5-piece Heart of Sworn Vigil are her most flexible launch-day equipment choices.

The recommendations below are intended as a launch-day Suoming build guide. Equipment interactions are based on the Version 3.7 kit text, but exact weapon rankings and Energy Regen requirements may change after more live combat testing.

Suoming DPS and Unison Support Builds

Suoming does not use one universal rotation. Choose the build that matches the character receiving the longest damage window.

Use the DPS route if Suoming is the team’s primary damage dealer. Choose the Unison support route if Hsin is already built and should receive Suoming’s Outro and Electro buffs.

Seal Master or Aligned Seals?

Suoming gains Unison through her Resonance Liberation, Miasma Lock. What she does next determines her role for the rest of that rotation.

Seal Master improves Suoming’s personal Basic Attack sequence, making it the correct choice in a Sanhua team.

Aligned Seals is designed for Hsin or another Electro DPS. Suoming completes her setup, activates Miasma Lock and leaves the field so that the next character can use her Outro window.

The two options are mutually exclusive within the same Unison window. Decide who should deal the team’s main damage before beginning Suoming’s rotation.

Recommended Weapons for Suoming

Unspoken Rue

Unspoken Rue is Suoming’s signature Sword and the most flexible option for both builds. It provides CRIT Rate and ATK while changing its benefits according to how Suoming uses Unison.

If Suoming enters Seal Master, the weapon shifts more of its value toward her personal Electro damage. If she switches out, it contributes to her Electro-support route.

This flexibility is the main reason to consider Unspoken Rue. It allows players to move Suoming between Hsin teams and on-field DPS teams without changing weapons.

Red Spring

Red Spring is a strong alternative when Suoming stays on-field. Its Basic Attack effects match the damage type of her enhanced attack sequence, especially after entering Seal Master.

It offers less value when Suoming is used mainly to support Hsin. Use an existing copy for the DPS build, but do not pull Red Spring specifically for Suoming when Unspoken Rue covers both roles.

Emerald of Genesis

Emerald of Genesis provides CRIT Rate, Energy Regen and a conditional ATK bonus. It is the most practical standard 5-star option, particularly when Suoming cannot consistently cast Miasma Lock during each rotation.

Its passive does not provide the same direct Unison interaction as Unspoken Rue, but its general stats work in either build.

Lumingloss

Lumingloss is a useful four-star option for an on-field Suoming. After using a Resonance Skill, it increases Basic Attack DMG during the part of the rotation in which Suoming performs her enhanced attacks.

Because Lumingloss does not provide CRIT, it places more pressure on Echo main stats and substats. Most Lumingloss builds will prefer a CRIT Rate 4-Cost Echo.

Other Accessible Options

Somnoire Anchor and Commando of Conviction can be used while stronger Swords are unavailable. They provide general offensive stats but do not interact directly with Suoming’s Unison mechanic.

Recommended Echoes for Suoming

Heart of Sworn Vigil

The 5-piece Heart of Sworn Vigil is Suoming’s most reliable general Echo set at launch.

Its 2-piece effect provides Electro DMG Bonus. The 5-piece effect activates when the wearer inflicts Electro Flare, obtains Unison or triggers Unison Response, granting additional CRIT Rate and Electro DMG Bonus for 30 seconds. Suoming can satisfy the Unison condition through Miasma Lock, so she does not need an Electro Flare teammate to activate the set.

Reminiscence: Suhsin the Inevitable

Use Reminiscence: Suhsin the Inevitable when Suoming is the on-field DPS.

Its active-slot effect provides Electro DMG Bonus, with another bonus available after gaining Unison or triggering Unison Response. This matches a Seal Master rotation in which Suoming remains active after Miasma Lock.

Soulfrayer

Use Soulfrayer when Suoming supports Hsin or another Electro DPS.

After Suoming casts the Echo Skill and triggers her Outro, Soulfrayer can pass an Electro DMG Bonus to the incoming character. Suoming sacrifices some personal damage, but Hsin receives a stronger damage window.

Soulfrayer is therefore a team-specific choice rather than Suoming’s universal Main Echo.

Suoming Teams and Rotations

Hsin, Suoming and Shorekeeper

This is Suoming’s most natural launch-day Unison team. Suoming’s Outro provides Electro amplification, while her Unison-related effects support Hsin’s Resonance Skill damage window.

Shorekeeper supplies healing and offensive buffs without taking excessive field time.

Basic rotation:

1. Use Shorekeeper’s team setup.
2. Trigger Suoming’s Intro to enter Deep Mind.
3. Build the required Delusion and use Miasma Lock.
4. Switch to Hsin while Suoming holds Unison.
5. Complete Hsin’s main Resonance Skill window before Suoming’s short-duration buffs expire.
6. Use the next Unison interaction to return to Suoming.

The critical step is not simply switching from Suoming to Hsin. Hsin must use her main damage attacks while Suoming’s Outro amplification remains active.

Suoming, Sanhua and Shorekeeper

This setup gives Suoming the team’s primary damage window. Sanhua’s Outro strengthens Basic Attack DMG, which matches Suoming’s enhanced attacks after entering Seal Master.

Basic rotation:

1. Set up Shorekeeper’s healing and buffs.
2. Use Sanhua’s Skill and Resonance Liberation.
3. Trigger Sanhua’s Outro and switch to Suoming.
4. Enter Deep Mind and use Miasma Lock.
5. Cast Rift Cleaver while holding Unison to activate Seal Master.
6. Continue Suoming’s enhanced Basic Attack sequence.
7. Fill Delusion and finish with Engraved Heart.

Do not switch Suoming out immediately after Miasma Lock in this team. Doing so changes the rotation from Seal Master DPS to Aligned Seals support and wastes Sanhua’s Basic Attack buff.

F2P-Friendly Suoming Team

Replacing Shorekeeper with Verina creates a more accessible version of the on-field team. Verina provides healing and general amplification, while Sanhua remains responsible for strengthening Suoming’s Basic Attacks.

This is the most straightforward setup for players who have Suoming but do not own Hsin.

Is Suoming Worth Pulling?

Suoming has the clearest value for Hsin owners. She fills the Unison partner role, supports Electro and Resonance Skill damage, and contributes damage during Hsin’s downtime.

Without Hsin, Suoming remains usable as an on-field Electro DPS with Sanhua. This route gives her more independence, but it also requires more field time and careful management of Delusion, Mind states and Seal Master.
