Severian Promotion Materials

Severian uses Attack Certification Seals to increase his level cap:

  • Basic Attack Certification Seal x4
  • Advanced Attack Certification Seal x32
  • Pioneer's Certification Seal x30
  • Dennies x800,000

Farm these materials from the Agent Promotion - Attack Drill Combat Simulation. Lower-rarity Certification Seals can also be converted into higher-rarity versions through material crafting.

Severian also needs 300 Senior Investigator Logs to reach Level 60. These can be obtained from Investigation Specialization Combat Simulations, Outpost Logistics, events, and other progression rewards.

Senior Investigator Logs and Dennies can be used by every Agent, making them safe to collect even if you have not made a final decision about pulling Severian.

Severian Skill Materials

Severian uses Windbite Chips to upgrade his Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack.

Maxing all five Skills requires:

  • Basic Windbite Chip x25
  • Advanced Windbite Chip x75
  • Specialized Windbite Chip x250
  • Hamster Cage Pass x5
  • Dennies x2,500,000

Windbite Chips are available from the Agent Skill - Gale Test Combat Simulation. They can also be obtained through material conversion and selected event rewards.

Hamster Cage Passes are required for the final level of each Skill. Since they are mainly obtained from events, the New Eridu City Fund, and Association Supplies, avoid using them on low-priority Skills unless you have enough saved.

Based on Severian's current kit, his Core Skill should receive the highest priority. For his regular Skills, focus on Basic Attack and Chain Attack before investing heavily in Special Attack, Dodge, and Assist.

You do not need to max all five Skills immediately. The totals above are intended for players who want to complete every Skill upgrade.

Severian Core Skill Materials

Completing Severian's Core Skill from A to F requires:

  • Higher Dimensional Data: Imitation Core x60
  • Timeworn Husk x9
  • Dennies x405,000

Imitation Core Farming Cost

Higher Dimensional Data: Imitation Core comes from Expert Challenge: Conqueror.

Expert Challenge Conqueror.png

A standard challenge run costs 40 Battery Charge and provides five Imitation Cores. Starting from zero, you need:

  • 12 standard challenge runs
  • 480 Battery Charge in total
  • 60 Higher Dimensional Data: Imitation Cores

Burnout Mode can reduce the number of individual battles by doubling both the Battery cost and rewards, but it does not reduce the total Battery Charge required.

Timeworn Husk Farming Cost

Timeworn Husks come from Notorious Hunt: Girtablullu. They can also be obtained through the Hidden Treasure section of Outpost Logistics.

Notorious Hunt Girtablullu.png

Notorious Hunt provides three free reward attempts each week. These attempts are shared across all Notorious Hunt bosses, so use them on Girtablullu when Severian is your main farming priority.

After using the three free attempts, you can activate Pursuit to the Depths and continue farming. Each additional run costs 60 Battery Charge.

Starting from zero, you can obtain all nine Timeworn Husks in the following ways:

  • Use three free attempts per week and finish in three weeks.
  • Use three free attempts, then complete six additional runs for 360 Battery Charge.
  • Combine Notorious Hunt drops with Timeworn Husks obtained from Hidden Treasure.

The free weekly attempts make Timeworn Husks worth farming first, but the material is not restricted by a hard weekly limit.

Severian Signature W-Engine Materials

Severian's signature W-Engine is currently listed as Cage of Forbidden Sins, an S-Rank Attack W-Engine.

To raise it to Level 60, prepare:

  • Attack Component x4
  • Reinforced Attack Component x32
  • Specialized Attack Component x30
  • W-Engine Energy Module x200
  • Dennies x400,000

Attack Components can be farmed from W-Engine Modification Combat Simulations. W-Engine Energy Modules are available through Combat Simulations, events, commissions, and other progression rewards.

These materials are not included in Severian's 3,705,000-Denny character total. Fully upgrading Severian and Cage of Forbidden Sins requires 4,105,000 Dennies in total.

Only prioritize these materials if you intend to obtain his signature W-Engine. The components and Energy Modules can still be collected later without delaying Severian's character levels or Core Skill.

Best Severian Prefarm Order

Use the following farming order to make the best use of your free attempts and Battery Charge:

  1. Use free Notorious Hunt attempts on Girtablullu. Collect the nine Timeworn Husks first because the free attempts reset weekly.
  2. Farm 60 Imitation Cores. This requires 12 standard Expert Challenge runs and 480 Battery Charge.
  3. Collect the Attack Certification Seals. Severian cannot reach Level 60 without completing each promotion.
  4. Farm Windbite Chips for his priority Skills. Start with Basic Attack and Chain Attack before committing to every Skill.
  5. Save 300 Senior Investigator Logs and 3,705,000 Dennies. These resources are needed to complete the full character build.
  6. Farm W-Engine materials last. Skip this step if you plan to use an alternative Attack W-Engine.

This order secures the free weekly rewards first while preventing optional W-Engine farming from delaying Severian's essential upgrades.

Should You Prefarm Severian?

Prefarming makes sense if you already plan to pull Severian and want to use him immediately after obtaining him. His currently listed Certification Seals, Windbite Chips, Core Skill materials, Senior Investigator Logs, and Dennies can all be collected before Version 3.3 begins.

If you are still undecided, start with flexible materials:

  • Senior Investigator Logs
  • Dennies
  • Hamster Cage Passes
  • W-Engine Energy Modules

These resources can be used by other Agents and W-Engines if Severian's final materials change or you decide to skip his banner.

Planning to pull Severian in Version 3.3? Check your Polychromes and pity before his banner arrives. If you still need more Monochromes, top up Zenless Zone Zero through UUTOP before pulling.

Conclusion

Fully building Severian requires 300 Senior Investigator Logs, five Hamster Cage Passes, 3,705,000 Dennies, and the necessary Attack, Wind, Expert Challenge, and Notorious Hunt materials. Begin with the free Girtablullu attempts, complete the Imitation Core farming, and then spend your remaining Battery Charge on promotion and Skill materials.

Preparing these resources in advance will let you raise Severian quickly when Version 3.3 arrives. Good luck with your prefarming, and may every Proxy who wants Severian bring him home.
