Mitya Materials: Ascension, Talents & Prefarm Guide | Genshin Impact

Current Version 7.2 beta data lists Mitya as a 5-star Electro Catalyst character. Raising him to Level 90 and all three Talents to Level 10 is estimated to require 418 Hero's Wit, 3 Wanderer's Advice, and 7,050,900 Mora. This guide covers his leaked Ascension, Talent, and signature weapon materials, how to farm them, and which ones must wait for Version 7.2.

Notice: Mitya's materials are based on pre-release Version 7.2 information and may change. New-area materials and some farming locations are not yet available in the live game.

Mitya Ascension Materials

Local Specialty: Crystalfold

Crystalfold is a new Version 7.2 Local Specialty and cannot be gathered in the current live version. Its locations should become available when the update's new area opens. After release, check the in-game map and collect each available gathering point; Local Specialties generally respawn after 48 hours.

Boss Material: Shattered Stabilizing Anchor

Shattered Stabilizing Anchor is listed as a drop from a new Version 7.2 Normal Boss. The boss is not available in the current version. After Version 7.2 launches, use the Adventurer's Handbook to locate it and claim its rewards with Original Resin.

Vajrada Amethyst

Vajrada Amethyst drops from Electro-related Normal and Weekly Bosses. You can craft lower-rarity pieces into higher tiers at the Crafting Bench. Dust of Azoth can also convert other elemental gems into Vajrada Amethyst.

Chimeric Enemy Drops

Chimeric Core, Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus, and Prime Chimeric Nexus drop from Aberrant Chimeric Monsters, including Chimeric Winged Elephants, Chimeric Horned Bears, and Chimeric Burrowbeasts in Snezhnaya. These enemies are available before Version 7.2. Use the Adventurer's Handbook to find them, and save lower-rarity drops for crafting higher tiers.

Mora and Character EXP

Leveling Mitya to 90 requires 418 Hero's Wit and 3 Wanderer's Advice. Blossoms of Revelation provide Character EXP books, while Blossoms of Wealth provide Mora. Quests, events, and exploration can also help build these reserves.

The estimated 7,050,900 Mora covers character leveling, Ascension, and all three Talents at Level 10. It does not include weapon upgrades.

Talent Books: Charity

Mitya uses the Charity series from the Relics of the Fallen Grace Domain of Mastery in Snezhnaya. Charity books are available on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday. Sunday also lets you choose from the domain's available Talent Book series.

Mask of the Virtuous Doctor

Mask of the Virtuous Doctor drops from the Level 70 or higher The Doctor Trounce Domain challenge. Weekly Boss rewards are time-gated, so start farming before Mitya arrives. If you receive another eligible drop from The Doctor, use Dream Solvent at the Crafting Bench to convert it.

Crown of Insight

Crowns of Insight mainly come from limited-time events and regional offering systems. Since Crowns are limited, decide which Talents you want to raise to Level 10 before using them. You do not need to triple-crown Mitya immediately; wait for his final kit before choosing your priority Talents.

The Frost Emperor

The Frost Emperor weapon materials come from Domain of Forgery: Severed Steel, available on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Craft lower-rarity pieces into higher tiers at the Crafting Bench.

Ethereal

The Ethereal materials drop from Fae enemies, including Snowland Fae, in Snezhnaya. Use the Adventurer's Handbook to track them. Lower-rarity Ethereal drops can be crafted into higher tiers.

Snowborn Heart

The Snowborn Heart materials come from Snowborn enemies associated with Version 7.2 content. They cannot be obtained in the current version. Once the new area opens, use the Adventurer's Handbook to locate the relevant enemies.

Mystic Enhancement Ore can be forged at a Blacksmith using Crystal Chunks and Original Resin, or obtained from other game rewards. Weapon Ascension costs 225,000 Mora; the listed Mora total also includes weapon leveling. These beta requirements may change before release.

What Mitya Materials Can You Prefarm Now?

You can make useful progress on Mitya's build before Version 7.2 arrives. Start with The Doctor's weekly challenge, then collect Charity books when their Domain is open. Chimeric drops, Vajrada Amethyst, EXP books, and Mora are also available now, so you can gather them gradually as you play.

Crystalfold and the new boss material will have to wait for Version 7.2. The same goes for Mitya's Snowborn Heart weapon materials. If you want to build him as soon as you get him, save some Fragile Resin for the new boss; you can collect Crystalfold without spending Resin.
