| Category | Recommended Build |
| Role | Off-field Cryo DPS, healer, Cryo/Hydro support |
| Best Weapon | Symphonist of Scents |
| Best Artifact Set | 4-Pc Golden Troupe |
| Sands | Energy Recharge or ATK% |
| Goblet | Cryo DMG Bonus or ATK% |
| Circlet | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG |
| Substat Priority | ER until requirement > CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG > ATK% |
| Talent Priority | Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst |

Escoffier's Elemental Skill activates her Cooking Mek in Cold Storage Mode. The device follows the active character and attacks nearby enemies with Cryo damage for 20 seconds.
This is Escoffier's main source of personal damage and continuously refreshes her Cryo and Hydro RES reduction. Use the tap version of her Skill in combat. Holding the Skill activates a cooking feature and provides no combat advantage.

Her Elemental Burst deals Cryo damage and immediately restores HP to the entire party. It also activates additional healing for the active character.
The teamwide healing makes Escoffier particularly valuable with Furina because it helps build Fanfare quickly. Her Burst is also required to maintain the party ATK buff from Symphonist of Scents.
When Escoffier's Skill or Burst hits an enemy, she reduces that enemy's Cryo and Hydro RES. The effect becomes much stronger as more Cryo and Hydro characters are added to the party.
Upgrade Escoffier's Talents in this order:
Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst > Normal Attack
Her Elemental Skill deserves the highest priority because it provides most of her personal damage. Level her Burst for stronger healing and additional damage. Normal Attacks can remain at Level 1.
Escoffier's standard setup is simple:
Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst > switch to the next support or main DPS
Using her Skill before her Burst allows her to catch the generated Cryo particles. This is normally the best order when Escoffier needs to use her Burst every rotation.
Version 7.1 does not add a new Polearm that changes Escoffier's weapon ranking. Symphonist of Scents remains her best weapon, while Favonius Lance continues to be one of her most practical options in energy-heavy teams.

Symphonist of Scents is Escoffier's signature weapon and her best overall option. It provides a large amount of CRIT DMG and increases ATK for both Escoffier and the active character after she heals.
Her post-Burst healing repeatedly refreshes the weapon's short ATK buff. This makes the weapon especially effective in teams where the main DPS benefits strongly from ATK.

Fractured Halo provides useful CRIT stats and performs well as a general damage weapon.

Calamity Queller offers high Base ATK, Elemental DMG Bonus, and additional ATK while Escoffier remains off-field. It becomes particularly strong when the team has fewer external ATK buffs.

Staff of Homa provides a large amount of CRIT DMG and converts part of Escoffier's HP into ATK, making it a strong stat stick once her Energy needs are covered.

Lumidouce Elegy offers CRIT Rate and additional ATK, giving Escoffier a balanced option for improving her off-field damage.

Engulfing Lightning is more valuable in teams where Escoffier needs a large amount of Energy Recharge. Its value decreases when she can already use her Burst comfortably with a lower-ER build.

Deathmatch is Escoffier's strongest 4-star option for personal damage. Its CRIT Rate makes balancing her stats easier, but players should avoid exceeding 100% CRIT Rate after Cryo Resonance.

Favonius Lance deals less personal damage but supplies Energy to the entire team. It is often the most practical weapon for the Version 7.1 premium Skirk team because both Escoffier and Furina have meaningful Energy requirements.
Use a CRIT Rate Circlet or sufficient CRIT Rate substats when equipping Favonius Lance so that its passive triggers consistently.

Golden Troupe remains Escoffier's best general Artifact set in Version 7.1. Her Elemental Skill continues dealing damage while she is off-field, allowing her to maintain the full four-piece bonus.
Use Golden Troupe when:
It is the safest default set for Skirk, Ayaka, Wriothesley, and Neuvillette teams.

Escoffier's long-lasting Elemental Skill can maintain the Tenacity ATK buff consistently.
Use Tenacity on Escoffier when no other teammate already carries it and the main DPS benefits from ATK.

Blizzard Strayer can compete with Golden Troupe against enemies that remain Frozen. However, it loses 20% CRIT Rate against bosses and other enemies that cannot be Frozen.
Escoffier also receives CRIT Rate from her Ascension and commonly uses Cryo Resonance, making it easy to exceed 100% CRIT Rate. Golden Troupe is therefore the more consistent choice.
While farming a complete set, combine two-piece bonuses that provide:
Prioritize strong main stats and substats until a complete four-piece set is ready.
| Artifact Slot | Recommended Main Stat |
| Sands | Energy Recharge or ATK% |
| Goblet | Cryo DMG Bonus or ATK% |
| Circlet | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG |
Use an Energy Recharge Sands if Escoffier cannot use her Burst when needed. Once her Energy requirement is satisfied, an ATK% Sands produces more damage and healing.
Cryo DMG Bonus is normally the stronger Goblet, especially with Shenhe or a support Artifact set. An ATK% Goblet becomes competitive when Escoffier already receives large amounts of DMG Bonus from Golden Troupe, Furina, and other buffs.
Her substat priority is:
Energy Recharge until requirement > CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG > ATK%
Avoid building Healing Bonus unless you specifically need more healing. Escoffier normally heals enough without sacrificing her damage.
Escoffier's Energy requirement changes considerably depending on the team and weapon.
These ranges assume Escoffier uses one Elemental Skill per rotation. The exact target changes with rotation length, enemy particles, Favonius triggers, and the number of Cryo teammates.
In Furina teams, using Escoffier's Burst every rotation is strongly recommended because her teamwide healing builds Fanfare. The Burst is also necessary when she uses Symphonist of Scents.
Escoffier performs best in parties containing four Cryo or Hydro characters. The following teams preserve her full Cryo and Hydro RES reduction while covering both premium and accessible options.
Skirk + Furina + Escoffier + Vodyanitsa
Skirk | Furina | Escoffier | Vodyanitsa |
This is Skirk's new premium team in Version 7.1. Escoffier provides healing, resistance reduction, and off-field Cryo damage, while Furina supplies teamwide DMG Bonus and additional Hydro damage.
Vodyanitsa strengthens the active character and fits Escoffier's Hydro and Cryo restriction. She can also hold Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers and Tenacity of the Millelith, allowing Escoffier and Furina to use different Artifact sets.
Rotation:
Furina Skill > Furina Burst > Escoffier Skill > Escoffier Burst > Vodyanitsa Skill > Skirk Skill and main combo
When Vodyanitsa uses Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, always switch directly from Vodyanitsa to Skirk.
Ayaka + Furina + Escoffier + Shenhe
Ayaka | Furina | Escoffier | Shenhe |
Escoffier replaces the traditional Anemo healer or support in this team. Her resistance reduction, personal damage, and healing give Ayaka a strong single-target Freeze composition.
Shenhe buffs both Ayaka and Escoffier, while Furina provides Hydro application and teamwide DMG Bonus.
Rotation:
Furina Skill > Furina Burst > Escoffier Skill > Escoffier Burst > Shenhe Burst > Shenhe Skill > Ayaka Dash > Skill > Burst > Normal and Charged Attacks
Wriothesley + Furina + Escoffier + Yelan
Wriothesley | Furina | Escoffier | Yelan |
This team combines Wriothesley's sustained on-field Cryo damage with Furina and Yelan's off-field Hydro damage. Escoffier keeps the team healthy and maintains Cryo and Hydro RES reduction throughout Wriothesley's field time.
Rotation:
Furina Skill > Furina Burst > Escoffier Skill > Escoffier Burst > Yelan Burst > Yelan Skill > Wriothesley Skill and attack combo
Neuvillette + Furina + Escoffier + Vodyanitsa
Neuvillette | Furina | Escoffier | Vodyanitsa |
Version 7.1 gives Neuvillette another premium Hydro and Cryo option. Escoffier reduces Hydro RES, provides off-field damage, and supplies the teamwide healing needed by Furina.
Vodyanitsa adds further support for the active character and can carry Tenacity of the Millelith. Neuvillette receives fewer Past Draconic Glories stacks than he would in a multi-element team, but the combined buffs and resistance reduction keep this composition competitive.
Rotation:
Neuvillette Skill > Vodyanitsa Skill > Furina Skill > Furina Burst > Escoffier Skill > Escoffier Burst > Neuvillette Charged Attack rotation
Kaeya + Xingqiu + Escoffier + Chongyun
Kaeya | Xingqiu | Escoffier | Chongyun |
This affordable Freeze team uses Kaeya as the on-field Cryo damage dealer. Chongyun converts Kaeya's Normal Attacks to Cryo damage, allowing him to benefit fully from Escoffier's Cryo RES reduction.
Xingqiu provides consistent off-field Hydro application, while Escoffier supplies healing, off-field Cryo damage, and resistance reduction. The team contains only Cryo and Hydro characters and does not require another limited 5-star character.
Rotation:
Xingqiu Skill > Xingqiu Burst > Escoffier Skill > Escoffier Burst > Chongyun Skill > Chongyun Burst > Kaeya Skill > Kaeya Burst > Kaeya Normal and Charged Attacks
Escoffier is fully functional at C0. Her healing, off-field Cryo damage, and maximum Cryo and Hydro RES reduction are all available without Constellations.
C1 grants 60% Cryo CRIT DMG to the party after Escoffier uses her Skill or Burst, provided every party member is Cryo or Hydro.
This is her strongest early Constellation for Cryo-focused teams and a major upgrade for Skirk, Ayaka, and Wriothesley.
C2 gives Escoffier five Cold Dish stacks after using her Skill. When another active character deals Cryo damage, one stack is consumed to add damage based on Escoffier's ATK.
It is a strong upgrade for Cryo carries, but the limited number of stacks makes it more valuable for concentrated damage windows than long strings of smaller hits.
C4 improves Escoffier's follow-up healing and restores up to 14 Energy during each healing duration. This significantly lowers her Energy Recharge requirement.
C6 greatly increases Escoffier's personal damage. It is designed for heavy vertical investment and is not required for her support role.
Choose C1 when your priority is increasing the damage of Skirk, Ayaka, Wriothesley, or another Cryo carry in a full Hydro and Cryo team.
Choose Symphonist of Scents when you want stronger Escoffier damage, easier CRIT building, and an additional ATK buff for the active character.
For most Cryo-focused teams, C1 is the more impactful team upgrade. C0 Escoffier with Favonius Lance is already enough to perform her main support role.
Escoffier is highly valuable for players who use Skirk or want to build strong Freeze teams. She combines several roles that would otherwise require separate characters:
Version 7.1 increases her value by adding Vodyanitsa, who completes the new premium Skirk team and creates additional options for other Cryo and Hydro damage dealers.
If you already own Skirk but do not have Escoffier, obtaining C0 Escoffier is normally more important than investing further into Skirk's weapon or Constellations.
Yes. Her Cryo and Hydro RES reduction works even when the enemy cannot be Frozen. This makes Escoffier valuable in boss-focused content.
Yes, but her Energy requirements become much higher. She also loses Cryo Resonance and may receive less value from her resistance reduction if the remaining characters are not Hydro.
Aim for enough CRIT Rate to trigger Favonius Lance reliably during her short field time. Around 50% to 60% is a practical starting point, with higher values providing greater consistency.
Yes. C0 already provides her healing, off-field damage, and full resistance reduction. Her Constellations improve team damage but are not required.
Escoffier is one of the most complete supports for Cryo and Hydro teams. She combines healing, resistance reduction, off-field Cryo application, and personal damage without taking significant field time.
Vodyanitsa gives her another premium teammate for Skirk and Hydro-focused Freeze teams, while Ayaka, Wriothesley, Neuvillette, and accessible four-star characters can also benefit from her support. Build enough Energy Recharge for the intended rotation, then focus on CRIT and ATK to improve her off-field damage.
