Vesna is an ATK-scaling on-field DPS. Her damage comes from repeated uses of her special Elemental Skill, Spirit Blades, and direct Stellar-Swirl reaction damage. She still benefits from Elemental Mastery, but a proper Vesna Genshin build should prioritize ATK and CRIT instead of turning her into a full-EM Swirl driver.
The Art of Victory places Vesna in the Armed for Action state and grants two Sword Essence. During this state, her Normal Attacks deal Anemo DMG and summon Wind Pinions that help restore Sword Essence.
Her Elemental Skill is replaced by Windborne Sword while Armed for Action is active. Repeated uses raise Windborne Sword from Level 1 to Level 3, with its later stages summoning Spirit Blades.
When Radiance: Stellar Swirl is active, Spirit Blade damage is treated as direct Stellar-Swirl reaction damage. This is the central mechanic behind the best Vesna build in Genshin Impact.

Vesna receives CRIT Rate from her Ascension and another 16% CRIT Rate from Scarlet Proof. Account for both bonuses before choosing a Circlet. A CRIT DMG Circlet becomes the better option once her effective CRIT Rate is already balanced.
Beyond the Chrysalis is Vesna's signature weapon and her best overall option. It supplies high Base ATK and CRIT DMG while rewarding the repeated Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst sequence built into her rotation.
The weapon also makes Artifact building easier because Vesna already receives CRIT Rate from her Ascension and Scarlet Proof.
Whitelake Frostfeather provides high Base ATK and CRIT Rate. It is a strong choice for players who already own it and do not want to pull another limited five-star weapon.
Watch Vesna's final CRIT balance when using it. Her Ascension stat, weapon stat, and Scarlet Proof bonus can push CRIT Rate too high if the Artifacts also contain several CRIT Rate rolls.
Both weapons function as premium offensive stat sticks. Their passives do not match Vesna's full rotation as closely as Beyond the Chrysalis, but their Base ATK and CRIT stats keep them competitive.
Emberwell is the most accessible reaction-focused choice for a Vesna weapon Genshin build. Its Elemental Mastery improves Stellar-Swirl damage, while its passive rewards regular reaction triggers.
Finale of the Deep provides Base ATK and ATK%, directly supporting Vesna's damage scaling. Its Bond of Life mechanic requires healing, so pair it with Vodyanitsa, Diona, Qiqi, or another dependable healer.

Her Elemental Burst comes second because it deals damage, summons a Spirit Blade, and restores Sword Essence during her field window. Normal Attack remains useful, but it contributes less to the complete rotation.

Vesna's complete Stellar-Swirl rotation is available at C0. She does not require a Constellation to enter Armed for Action, summon Spirit Blades, or deal direct Stellar-Swirl damage.
A C0 Vesna with the correct Artifact set and teammates is the most efficient stopping point for F2P players.
C1 allows Vesna to use the highest level of Windborne Sword four times instead of three during Armed for Action. The first highest-level cast also stops consuming Sword Essence when she enters the state, and her Stellar-Swirl damage increases by 20% during the mode.
This Constellation extends her main combo and adds another high-value Spirit Blade sequence.
C2 immediately grants the maximum number of Disciplinary Action stacks when Vesna enters Armed for Action. At maximum stacks, her ATK increases by 60%.
This removes the build-up period from her rotation and lets her strongest attacks benefit from the full ATK bonus immediately.
C6 adds Windborne Sword: Transpose follow-up attacks after Vesna uses Windborne Sword at its highest level. These follow-ups deal Anemo damage, summon another Spirit Blade, and significantly change her on-field combo.
C6 is a high-investment damage upgrade rather than a requirement for her core playstyle.
Elemental Mastery improves her reaction damage, but Vesna is not a traditional full-EM Swirl driver. Ignoring ATK and CRIT lowers the damage of her Skills and Spirit Blades.
Anemo DMG Bonus does not improve direct Stellar-Swirl damage like an ATK% Goblet does. Use ATK% as her standard Goblet main stat.
