What is the best weapon for Linnea?
Golden Frostbound Oath is Linnea
Linnea is a five-star Geo Bow character who combines off-field damage, teamwide healing, Geo RES reduction, and Lunar-Crystallize support. A single Skill tap creates her sustained off-field playstyle, while five Skill taps produce a front-loaded Lunar-Crystallize hit for quickswap teams. The correct Linnea build depends on which of these two playstyles the team uses.

Linnea spends little time on the field. She summons Lumi, switches to the team's main damage dealer, and continues dealing Geo and Lunar-Crystallize damage from off-field.
Linnea converts Hydro Crystallize into Lunar-Crystallize. Every 100 DEF increases the reaction's Base DMG by 0.7%, up to 14% at 2,000 DEF.

Tap Linnea's Elemental Skill once to summon Lumi in Super Power Form. Lumi performs regular Geo attacks and direct Lunar-Crystallize attacks when Moondrifts are present.
This is Linnea's standard setup in Zibai, Navia, Noelle, and other sustained Geo teams. It uses minimal field time and keeps Lumi's strongest off-field attack pattern active.
Tap the Elemental Skill five times to feed Lumi and activate Million Ton Crush. This produces a large front-loaded Lunar-Crystallize hit before Lumi switches to Standard Power Form.
Use this version in quickswap teams, short vulnerability windows, and rotations built around Linnea's personal nuke. Standard Power Form attacks more slowly and does not produce direct Lunar-Crystallize hits, so it is weaker for sustained off-field damage.

Linnea's Burst immediately heals the entire party, then continues healing the active character for 12 seconds. It deals no damage.
When Lumi is already active, the Burst resets Lumi's duration without changing her current form. Use it every rotation with Furina or when reliable healing is required. Skip it during healthy rotations to shorten the setup and reduce Linnea's Energy Recharge requirement.
While Lumi is active, nearby enemies lose 15% Geo RES. This becomes 30% when the party reaches Ascendant Gleam.
Linnea also grants an Elemental Mastery buff equal to 5% of her total DEF. An active Moonsign character receives the buff directly. When the active character is not a Moonsign character, Linnea receives the buff herself from off-field.
Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst > Normal Attack
The Elemental Skill controls Lumi's damage and Linnea's primary combat contribution.
Raise the Burst when the team needs stronger healing. Leave Normal Attack at level 1 because standard combat rotations do not use its damage multipliers.
Golden Frostbound Oath is Linnea's best weapon. It provides 542 Base ATK and 88.2% CRIT DMG at level 90, increases her DEF, and strengthens both Geo and Lunar-Crystallize damage.
Its passive also buffs the Geo and Lunar-Crystallize damage of nearby teammates while Moondrifts are present. This makes it both Linnea's best personal weapon and her strongest complete team option.
| Rank | Weapon | Main value |
| 1 | Golden Frostbound Oath | DEF, CRIT DMG, personal damage and teamwide Geo/Lunar support |
| 2 | Aqua Simulacra | High CRIT DMG and a universal personal DMG Bonus that works off-field |
| 3 | Elegy for the End | Energy Recharge and teamwide Elemental Mastery |
| 4 | Polar Star | CRIT Rate stat stick |
| 6 | Hunter's Path | CRIT Rate and limited personal damage value |
Aqua Simulacra is the best non-signature weapon for Linnea's personal damage. Elegy for the End is the stronger support choice when the team benefits from its Elemental Mastery and ATK buffs.
Other five-star CRIT Bows work as stat sticks, but they do not provide enough additional value to justify pulling them specifically for Linnea.

R5 Slingshot is Linnea's best F2P weapon for personal damage. Its CRIT Rate reduces Artifact pressure, and its low Base ATK does not matter because Linnea scales with DEF.
The three-star rarity also makes refinement inexpensive. Use Slingshot when Golden Frostbound Oath and Aqua Simulacra are unavailable.

4-piece Aubade of Morningstar and Moon focuses on Linnea's personal Lunar-Crystallize damage. It works well in teams containing another Nod-Krai character and remains active while Linnea is off-field.
Choose Aubade when another teammate already holds the required support set and Linnea is built as a reaction sub-DPS.

4-piece Silken Moon's Serenade is Linnea's main team-support option. It provides Elemental Mastery and Lunar Reaction support to the party.
Use it when Columbina, Aino, Illuga, or another teammate is not already holding the set. Duplicating the same non-stacking team buff wastes an Artifact slot.

4-piece Husk of Opulent Dreams is Linnea's best general set. It supplies a large amount of DEF and strengthens her damage, healing, Elemental Mastery buff, and Lunar-Crystallize Base DMG support.
It becomes even stronger after C1 because Linnea's Constellation effects gain additional value from DEF.

Lumi's continuous Skill damage maintains the 4-piece Tenacity buff. This set is reserved for ATK-scaling carries such as Navia and Ningguang.
It lowers Linnea's personal damage and provides little value to DEF-scaling carries such as Zibai, Noelle, and Itto.
Use two-piece combinations of DEF%, Elemental Mastery, or Energy Recharge while farming a complete four-piece set. Strong main stats and substats take priority over forcing an incomplete build into a four-piece bonus.
| Slot | Main stat |
| Flower | HP |
| Plume | ATK |
| Sands | DEF% |
| Goblet | DEF% |
| Circlet | CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG |
Use a DEF% Goblet instead of Geo DMG Bonus. DEF improves Linnea's healing, direct Lunar-Crystallize damage, Elemental Mastery support, and teamwide Lunar-Crystallize Base DMG bonus.
Use a CRIT Circlet for personal damage. Use a DEF% Circlet when the build needs to reach 2,000 DEF or places greater value on healing and team support.
Linnea needs at least 2,000 total DEF. This maximizes the 14% Lunar-Crystallize Base DMG bonus from her Moonsign passive.
Continue adding DEF after 2,000 because it still improves her damage, healing, and Elemental Mastery support. Do not sacrifice a functional CRIT ratio or required Energy Recharge solely to stack more DEF.
Use these targets:
| Burst schedule | Recommended ER |
| Burst only when available | 100% |
| Burst every rotation | 170–185% |
A Favonius weapon trigger reduces the requirement. Furina teams need Linnea's Burst every rotation, while standard Zibai teams only need it when healing is required.
Build toward a 1:2 CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG ratio after weapon and team buffs. Avoid exceeding 100% CRIT Rate after Ascendant Gleam, C2, weapon effects, and teammate buffs are included.
Lunar-Crystallize damage can CRIT inside Linnea's intended team system, so CRIT remains one of her main offensive stats.
Use: Energy Recharge until requirement > CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG > DEF% > Elemental Mastery
Flat DEF provides some value but remains below DEF%. ATK%, flat ATK, and Normal Attack bonuses do not improve the central parts of her build.
C1 gives Linnea Field Catalog stacks when she uses her Skill or triggers Moondrift Harmony. These stacks add damage to nearby party members' Lunar-Crystallize attacks.
It also greatly strengthens Million Ton Crush by allowing the attack to consume several Field Catalog stacks. C1 is valuable for both sustained reaction teams and quickswap nuke teams.
C2 is Linnea's strongest early Constellation and the main stopping point for higher investment. After Moondrift Harmony triggers, Hydro and Geo party members gain 40% CRIT DMG for eight seconds.
It also strengthens Million Ton Crush and allows Lumi's direct Lunar-Crystallize attacks to trigger Moondrift Harmony under Ascendant Gleam.
Keep Linnea at C0 when using a limited budget. Her base kit already provides healing, Geo RES reduction, Lunar-Crystallize conversion, Elemental Mastery, and off-field damage.
For additional investment, obtain Golden Frostbound Oath before C1 when both options start from zero. The weapon strengthens Linnea and the complete Geo/Lunar team. After the weapon, C1 and C2 provide the strongest early Constellation path.
Use: Hydro setup → Linnea tap Skill → Linnea Burst if healing is required → remaining support → on-field Geo DPS
A single Skill tap preserves Lumi's Super Power Form and sustained Lunar-Crystallize attacks.
Use: Team buffs → Hydro application → Linnea Skill tapped five times → switch to the next damage dealer
Do not switch before Million Ton Crush lands. The attack has a short delay and loses active-character buffs if Linnea leaves the field too early.
Golden Frostbound Oath is Linnea
Use 4-piece Husk of Opulent Dreams for the strongest general build. Use Aubade of Morningstar and Moon for personal Lunar-Crystallize damage or Silken Moon
Yes. DEF% improves more of Linnea
Linnea needs no additional Energy Recharge when using her Burst only when available. A team that requires her Burst every rotation needs approximately 170–185% ER before reductions from Favonius triggers.
Yes. R5 Slingshot is a three-star weapon, and two-piece DEF sets provide an inexpensive transitional Artifact build. Her C0 kit already includes her full healing and Lunar-Crystallize support package.
Golden Frostbound Oath is worth pulling for players who want to maximize both Linnea
TOP UP GENSHIN IMPACT ON UUTOP

The best Linnea build reaches 2,000 DEF, upgrades her Elemental Skill first, and selects Energy Recharge according to how often she uses her Burst. Husk of Opulent Dreams provides the strongest general setup, while Golden Frostbound Oath and Slingshot cover the premium and F2P weapon choices.
