Skirk requires 168 Skysplit Gemblooms. They grow in Atocpan and the Ancient Sacred Mountain area of Natlan.
Use the in-game tracker to mark each cluster. Mualani, Kachina, and Kinich display nearby Natlan Local Specialties on the minimap. Skysplit Gemblooms can also be grown on Luxuriant Glebe fields in the Serenitea Pot.
Collect 46 Ensnaring Gazes from the Tenebrous Papilla World Boss in Natlan. Select Ensnaring Gaze in Skirk's ascension screen or track the boss through the Adventurer Handbook to place its location on the map.
Claiming the reward costs 40 Original Resin. The Tenebrous Papilla creates a Void Ward during battle. Frequent Elemental attacks remove the Ward, while Nightsoul-aligned attacks break it more efficiently.
The Tenebrous Papilla drops Agnidus Agate rather than the Shivada Jade Skirk needs. Farm her Cryo gemstones separately or convert spare elemental gems with Dust of Azoth.
Skirk's ascensions use 18 Meshing Gears, 30 Mechanical Spur Gears, and 36 Artificed Dynamic Gears. Her three Talents add another 18 Meshing Gears, 66 Mechanical Spur Gears, and 93 Artificed Dynamic Gears.
For level 90 and three level 10 Talents combined, collect 36 Meshing Gears, 96 Mechanical Spur Gears, and 129 Artificed Dynamic Gears. Keep enough low-tier Gears for the early upgrades before converting the rest at an Alchemy Bench.
Skirk needs 1 Shivada Jade Sliver, 9 Fragments, 9 Chunks, and 6 Gemstones. Farm Cryo bosses for the Jade series, combine lower tiers through alchemy, or use Dust of Azoth to convert gemstones from another element.
Skirk's ascension stat is CRIT DMG. Her ascensions provide 38.4% CRIT DMG, bringing her total base CRIT DMG to 88.4% at level 90 before weapons and Artifacts are included.
Taking Skirk from level 1 to 90 requires 419 Hero's Wit and 2,093,400 Mora, including the 420,000 Mora used for her six ascensions.
Skirk uses the Contention series from the Blazing Ruins Domain of Mastery in Natlan. The Contention challenge is open on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Talent levels 7-10 use Ascended Sample: Knight, obtained from the level 70 or higher The Game Before the Gate in the Unresolved Chess Game Trounce Domain near Falcon Coast, Mondstadt.
One level 10 Talent needs 6 Samples, two crowned Talents need 12, and three crowned Talents need 18. When the weekly reward gives Ascended Sample: Queen or Ascended Sample: Rook, convert it into Ascended Sample: Knight with Dream Solvent at an Alchemy Bench.
Talent level 10 consumes one Crown of Insight. For Skirk's standard on-field playstyle, use this priority:

Her enhanced Normal Attacks during Seven-Phase Flash use the multipliers from her Elemental Skill. The Normal Attack Talent does not improve this main damage string, so it can remain at level 1. Players using Skirk mainly as a quickswap Burst DPS should level the Elemental Burst first
